LV Travel Baseball Program
LVBA's youth travel baseball program, often referred to as "Travel", offers kids a great way to train and compete at an organized and highly competitive level. This format allows each team to compete against the best age-like teams across neighboring counties in a traditional divisional format. Travel teams may also compete in local and over-night tournaments including the famous Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournaments in Cooperstown, NY! Currently our travel teams typically participate in STBL (Suburban Travel League) during the Spring season. Tryouts for Travel usually take place in the Fall with all rosters being announced by 11/1. Most teams typically start "winter workouts" (indoor training) in January and goes until the weather allows them to move to outdoor practices. The STBL season typically runs from early April until early June with games usually on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons. Teams generally practice every Wednesday evening during the spring season. Teams may also participate in tournaments throughout the spring, summer, and/or fall. Participation in the LV Spring In-House program is also a requirement for all Travel players. Travel registration fee's are paid separately from In-House registration and are determined by the Board of Directors and the Travel Board. Fee's vary by year and are created to allow for preparation for the season and the purchase of uniforms.
